We hope that your family is doing well in this time. We are grateful to continue to play songs of hope and encouragement that shine God’s light in the darkness on Z88.3! It is an honor for us to pray for your family daily.
December 1 is Giving Tuesday for nonprofits in our community that have been severely affected financially by COVID-19. As a nonprofit that relies on giving from families and businesses, your Z has also seen a decline in giving. But, this day isn’t about us.
Today, we want to encourage those who can to give to the nonprofits in our community that help alleviate the terrible suffering brought on by this pandemic. There are organizations helping to serve those who are out of work, dealing with hunger, transitions, and financial and emotional hardship. We have an opportunity to pray for these organizations who do good in our community and to financially help them to help those who are so desperate.
If you are able, give generously! We can start with our own church’s and then other ministries, such as the Salvation Army, Christian Help, Second Harvest Food Bank, and others serving on the front lines alleviating the human suffering happening right now. We believe God will use our gifts for His glory! May God bless you for your generosity!
