Z88.3 FM: Moves You

Carol’s All Fruit Smoothie

This week’s Quick Family Recipe is brought to you by the need to make a quick, healthy breakfast for the upcoming school year and also using all of your summer berries before they go bad! 🙂

I usually wash all my fruit the day we buy it and whatever is left over after about 3-4 days moves to the freezer for me to use for this super easy recipe!

All you need is a blender or a food processor if you don’t have a blender.

Let’s get blending together… 🙂

Ingredients:
(Makes about two 24 oz smoothies)

  • 1.5 Cups Orange Juice
  • 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 Banana

How to Make:

  • Add everything to your blender and blend on high until all ingredients are blended together.

  • Serve right away and Enjoy! 🙂

Ellis can make this one without blueberries, since he’s allergic! You can really add whatever you want, but this recipe keeps it simple. Tyler loves the idea of using it to make an easy breakfast for the busy school year. We’d love to see your pictures of your family enjoying these recipes. You can share them on the Z88.3 Mornings Facebook page.
