Carol’s Easter Recipes

Happy Easter Z Land. I hope that you are able to join us at the Easter Sunrise Service this year. It’s my favorite tradition to help put the service together, watch the sunrise and worship, go home and crash, then cook away. I grew up with my momma making a ham dinner, which was more like linner because we’d always eat at 2 or 3:00 after church. 🙂 She’d cook a ham and then throw in green beans to cook in the ham juices for the last hour of the cooking time. We’d have parsley potatoes and deviled eggs from all the dyed eggs we had made.

Then, when Easter was over, we’d have great dishes like my momma’s German Ham and Potato Casserole or Egg Scramble made with the leftover parsley potatoes and ham! We never got sick of having ham, ham and more ham, because she’d find fun, creative ways to serve it.  🙂
