Communications/Events Coordinator

Stephanie is a transplant to Florida, moving to the Orlando area a little over 5 years ago. Before that time, she lived in Indiana, graduating from Purdue University, and then spent several years serving alongside her husband, Jeremy, at a church in New Jersey. While she still loves the sight of palm trees, she admits she is not quite yet accustomed to I-4 traffic!

They now live in Eustis, where Jeremy is the pastor at Northland Lake County Church. They have 3 of the most amazing boys… Caden, Logan, and Ryan, and enjoy going to Sea World and Aquatica as a family whenever they can. They enjoy roller coasters, water parks, playing Wii games with the kids, and any time they can get away on a cruise!

Stephanie is passionate about her family, her community, worship (both with her voice and her life), people, and providing support for teams and volunteers to be able to serve God most effectively with their gifts. Stephanie found her way to the Z through doors that the Lord had clearly opened, and she is excited to continue to champion the people around her and get to know more about this wonderful Z family!

Director of Engineering

My interest in broadcasting started early in my life. At age 7, I passed my amateur radio test and received my first license.

My radio career started at a small AM station in Pittsburgh when I was 13. It was an AM daytimer and I still remember signing the station on, and the warm glow of the tubes in the RCA transmitter. I constructed my first studios there and had my first opportunity to work with audio processing. Back then, the Audimax and Volumax were in use, but I remember building circuits to shape the audio. I always believed that it was important to stand out with a loud, clean, and bold signal that stood out from the crowd. Just as you would listen to sound systems and pick the best sounding speakers to take home, good broadcast audio can attract and keep listeners.

I was never satisfied with just being average. In my 20's I worked at the first rated station in Pittsburgh which at that time was a top 20 market.

I was always looking for a signal that stood out from the others. Back then, most processing advantages were through hardware modifications, such as changing capacitors in the crossovers to get a deeper bass sound, or careful selection of pre-processing such as the Texar Prism, and multi-band compressor/limiters.

Over the years while vacationing in Florida, I was always impressed with the quality and programming of Z883. It is a blessing to now be a part of the team.

I am an active member of the SBE, and hold several IT certifications from Microsoft and Cisco Systems.

On-air Personality

Lizzette is a Bronx native and moved to Lake Mary Florida in high school. During her high school years, Lizzette became known as Lizzette on the radio, before actually becoming Lizzette on the radio. Having a difficult time adjusting to the move and missing her friends Lizzette one day tried to win a prize on the radio and got through her very first try. She got her foot in the door winning various prizes and attending events and since then, she’s worked her way up until eventually getting on-air. Lizzette has been in the Orlando market her whole radio career at 102 Jamz, Mix 105.1 and 101.9 AMP Radio.

She is married to her high school sweetheart Eddie. Their first unofficial date was at Disney World where she asked him to take her since he had a car and she had tickets that she had won on the radio. They went in as friends and came out unaware of the future God had planned for them. They have three girls, Melinda’s the oldest and they have twins who are their miracle babies. The twins were born at 24 weeks gestational age making them 16 weeks premature. Maya was 1lb. 3oz. and Mia was just 15oz. at birth. They only had 10% chance at life but through the grace of God, they are still beating the odds. The twins have special needs. They both have Cerebral Palsy, and Mia’s ongoing health issues have been a challenge, and trusting God for their FULL HEALTH are the words spoken over them daily. She loves to advocate for families with special needs and encourages everyone to say hello when you see a family with a child with special needs.

Lizzette still misses New York very much and loves the city! She looks forward to taking the girls on a trip back home one day so she can share some precious memories with them! When you hear Lizzette say “Besitos To You” on the radio, it’s her way of giving you a virtual hug and kiss! 2 Corinthians 13 says “Greet One another with a holy kiss.”

Z88.3 Afternoons with Shadow and Coppelia

Coppelia is thrilled to join the Z Crew in Orlando, where she will co-host Z88.3 Afternoons with Shadow and Coppelia. She’ll also be the Program Director for La Z 102.5, Z’s new Spanish sister station.

Coppelia started her radio career in Puerto Rico on The Rock Radio Network. She left her home island to pursue radio dreams in California when God opened a miraculous door for her at K-LOVE and Air 1. A few years later, Coppelia moved to Houston, TX to host the KSBJ Morning Show and later the Afternoon Show before taking a break to focus on blogging, speaking and leading worship. God called her back to KSBJ’s sister station, NGEN Radio, where she hosted the midday show.

When she’s not on the air, you can find Coppelia trying to catch up with her kids’ sports activities! She also loves serving in church with her hubby, leading worship, speaking at women’s events and blogging. Now that they are in Orlando, you’ll probably find her hanging out with her equally-Disney-obsessed sister at Disney World!
