We are grateful for the hard work and sacrifice of our veterans. My daddy served in the US Navy for many years, and my heart will always have a special place for those who are and have served.

With Veterans Day coming up this Saturday, November 11, there are many special celebrations happening around Central Florida. We are very excited about one special event happening at The First Academy this Wednesday, November 8. There’s something special about our kids coming together to honor our heroes. You’ll find more about that in the event list below along with other special Veteran’s Day Celebrations that we found posted on our Z Community Calendar.

We’re also looking forward to hearing your stories this Friday as we spend the morning honoring our heroes. Ellis and I would love for you to share about your favorite veteran on the radio. Call us this Friday morning between 6 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the studio at 407.682.8888.
