YMCA Healthy Kids Day

Celebrate Healthy Kids Day® with us! This FREE community event is packed with activities to encourage kids and families to build healthy habits! Join us on April 26, 2025, from 10:00am – 1:00pm at your local YMCA of Central Florida family center.

Get ready for a day of excitement and adventure! We believe that children who are happy, healthy and engaged are critical to building successful, thriving communities. That’s why this event is so important—it inspires kids and families to stay active in both spirit, mind and body throughout the summer months and beyond.

Join us from 11:30am – 12:30pm for a New Worlds Reading Initiative event. (Note: The Roper YMCA’s New Worlds Reading Initiative event will begin at 1:00pm—different from other locations.) Children and families will enjoy a book reading of “Skater Cielo” by Rachel Katstaller, followed by an interactive activity that brings the story to life!

Participants in the New Worlds Reading Initiative event will enjoy a complimentary lunch for the first 200 attendees and a free book for the first 100 children at each family center. Plus, don’t miss your chance to win exciting raffle prizes—including four SeaWorld Orlando tickets and more!
