A Musical Salute to the G.I. Joes and Janes of WWII

The setting is a U.S.O. Club in Brooklyn in 1942. Ships leaving the nearby Navy yard are being sunk by enemy U-boats. Allied intelligence suspects the club is unknowingly harbouring Axis spies. Enter Private Joe Kilroy, a young soldier who draws a curious cartoon face everywhere he goes (and is this causing trouble!). He’s the only one who knows where the next Allied convoy will converge. The enemy agents are stopping at nothing to learn his secret. The action builds to an exciting finale during a wild radio broadcast.

Veterans Day Free Car Washes

Bill’s Car Wash and Detailing Centers would like to honor all military and service personnel on November 11 for their service to our country. To show our appreciation, all military and service personnel will receive a FREE car wash. We are proud to be a participant of Grace For Vets, an international program that recognizes military service personnel with a FREE car wash on November 11 through a united front of car washes. We sincerely appreciate your service to our country and would be honored to wash your car at any of our three locations Novemeber 11.

Legends & Legacies Symposium: “Veterans Day Salute: A Celebration of Service”

“Veterans Day Salute: A Celebration of Service,” an encore presentation of Fantasy of Flight’s Legends & Legacies Symposium Series. Five veterans of World War II and Vietnam will share their personal stories, while six military aircraft that flew in those conflicts will be featured and flown. There will also be special flights and activities planned throughout the weekend.

Cost: The Veterans Day events are included in Fantasy of Flight general admission of $28.95 plus tax for adults and $14.95 plus tax for youth (ages 6-12); ages 5 and younger are free with full-paying adult. All active duty, retired, reserve and veterans with valid ID receive free admission during the Veterans Day Salute.

AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Bowling Program

Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), one of the largest non-profit volunteer sports organizations in the U.S., is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and fitness programs.

AAU Bowling-Florida provides a quality comprehensive bowling program open to those 3-23, regardless of current skill level. Everyone competes as individuals by age division.

Join any time during each 6 week session, with no penalty for non- play and no qualifying necessary! College recognition combines, camps, clinics and scholarships are also availible!

Just $10 a week for 3 games, and $10 a session (6 wks) with an AAU membership ($14)!

Fashion Walk Orlando Presents R.C. Couture

Fashion, in all its timelessness, stands as an emblem of cultural expression. In that spirit, we bring you Fashion Walk Orlando. An exclusive fashion show that features debutantes like Vera Wang and Chanel, the exotic manifestations of Oscar de la Renta, Versace, and Catherine Malandrino, the grand and sophisticated tailoring of St. John, and numerous others. Along displaying these items, a proceeds of the profits will go to feeding those in need. Fashion Walk Orlando will be held Sunday November 11, 2012 at the Heaven Event Center. General admission is only $45 and VIP is $65.
