Operation Christmas Child National Collection Week

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD NATIONAL COLLECTION WEEK
NOVEMBER 12-19

Impact a child’s life with a simple shoe box gift. Fill a shoe box with school supplies, toys, necessity items and a note of encouragement for a child overseas suffering due to disaster, disease, war, terrorism, famine and poverty. This year, Operation Christmas Child expects to reach a milestone with more than 100 million children receiving shoe box gifts since the project began in 1993.

Toyota of Clermont's Turkey Trot 5k

Lace up those sneakers and join us on Nov. 17th. This a walk or run event benefitting the South Lake Historical Society and Back to School is Cool. All of your registration fee goes to these charities.

Registration is $25.00( after Nov 1st- $30) and includes a t-shirt, breakfast, and a finisher medal. So come on out and have a nice stroll by Lake Minneola.

We are a community of women of all ages, in all stages who are followers of Christ or open to His message. Infused with unconditional love and loads of laughter, we sing, we shop, we learn and reload for another day. Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair

This event is a fun way to start your holiday shopping in a relaxed festive atmosphere. Shop for unique handcrafted gifts by local artisans. Purchase fairtrade handicrafts by artisans around the world. Select a gift basket ready for gift giving. Sample homemade cookies, pies, cupcakes and more at our bake sale table. Hunt for treasures at our white elephant table. Stay for lunch and try our homemade chili and cornbread at our snack bar. All proceeds from our Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair go to supporting church youth ministries and overseas missions. Crafters and artisans interested in reserving a space at our event can contact Alice at adomson@att.net by October 12th.
