The Drive is a weekday Bible study and worship service for Orlando 20s/30s singles. The Drive is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday nights in the Student Center of First Orlando. Group dinner at a local restaurant following the service each week.

History of the Holy Land

History of the Holy Land Presentation
Pastor Kevin James will present the “History of the Holy Land” on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m. and again on Thursday, May 30 at 10 a.m. at Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast. This exciting presentation in photos and narration is offered in conjunction with an upcoming trip to the Holy Land, September 23-October 2, 2013 sponsored by United Methodist Men and led by Pastor James along with Educational Opportunity Tours. The presentation and trip are open to all interested parties; membership in the church is not required. National Bible Bee Registration

What if you could find a summer activity that would strengthen your children in their knowledge of God’s word, bring your family together for Bible study and prayer, and give you the opportunity to meet with other families for fellowship and encouragement, all while participating in an exciting national competition?

Here it is! The 2013 National Bible Bee is coming to our area. The local contest will be held on Saturday, August 24th. Lemonade Day

Lemonade Day at Vista Lakes Elementary School:

160 5th grade students will be operating their Lemonade Stand businesses (40 lemonade stands) on Friday, March 31st from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

All students are preparing by going through the 14-lesson business curriculum, learning topics like planning, budgeting, finding investors, marketing, etc.

Lemonade Day is part of a national movement to teach kids life skills.

24 HORAS DE ADORACION- 24 HOUR WORSHIP

This is the second year that the Pastors Association of Kissimmee is having 24 Hours of continuous adoration and worshiping at the Osceola Heritage Park. The event will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31st and will finish on Saturday, June 2nd at 7 p.m. We want to open this invitation for everyone and if there is any church interested in participating, we can check for open spots. Hurricane Preparedness Seminar

Hurricane season officially starts on June 1, and on Friday May 31, the City of Deltona will present the 2013 Hurricane Preparedness Seminar. The Seminar will begin at 7 p.m. in the Commission Chambers of Deltona City Hall, 2345 Providence Blvd. Central Florida News 13’s Chief Meteorologist, Jeff Day, and Deltona Fire Department’s Deputy Chief, Bob Rogers, who is in charge of Emergency Management for the City of Deltona, will give presentations.
