The Christ School Summer in the City provides an exciting and engaging summer experience within a safe and nurturing Christ-centered environment. Summer campers have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities encompassing academics, athletic events and the arts.

Rising K-6th grade campers will:

  • Be lead by highly skilled and dedicated teaching professionals serving as positive role models
  • Experience opportunities for academic growth and athletic skill development
  • Participate in supervised and guided games and playtime experiences

Summer Youth Theater Camp Registration: July 7-31

Location: By Your Side Ministries Worship Arts Theater, Winter Garden FL

Four-week camp where students will learn all about theater productions. The camp is designed to bring out the students imagination and inspire their creativity. All students will participate in the production of Annie Jr. They will take part in learning staging, memorizing lines, rehearse scenes and aid in costume and props.

Easter Concert

Location: Faith Baptist Church, Titusville Florida

Our choir will be presenting a multi-media concert entitled “My Redeemer Lives.” It is our goal not only to be a blessing to our church family, but also to welcome those who wish to focus on the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, in our community. The concert will take place between our 2 morning worship services. Our children’s ministry will also be available during the concert.

The Play "Bugz"- Performed by K-2 Grade

Location: Central Christian Church, Orlando FL

Non profit arts organization Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts) is presenting Bugz. Performed by members of their Children and Youth Arts program. There’s going to be a picnic and everyone is pitchin’ in…the Lady Bugs are in charge of proper etiquette, the Army Ants handle security, the Fireflies tackle lighting, and entertainment will be provided by the Bumble Bees. Featuring beginner actors in grade K-2, Bugz is an adorable show about singing and dancing butterflies, bumblebees…and stink bugs! What’s not to love? See you at the picnic!

General Admission:
$10 each.
Children age 12 and under will be admitted for free.

  • Ticket sales begin on April 19th at the Parrish Hall
  • Ticket sale hours are from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
  • Arm Bands purchased from the school between April 19th and the morning of April 23rd will be $15.  This armband is good for one day of unlimited ticketed rides.
  • Tickets will also be available on fair grounds during the fair.

Free Orlando Veteran Job Fair

Location: Bahia Shriners Event Center, Orlando FL

A free job fair for Orlando’s unemployed and underemployed military veterans and their spouses is being held at the Bahia Shriners Event Center. This career fair is specifically for military veterans, National Guard members, reservists, and their spouses and will be attended by over 40 veteran-friendly hiring companies, including Lockheed Martin, Plastipak, University of Central Florida, Cummins Power South, USAA, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. The goal of this free event is to help Metro Orlando’s military veterans better compete for available jobs, lower the area’s veteran unemployment rate, and help support the families of those who have supported our country.
