Food Drive for the Hungry: Hosted by Subway (Through month of April)

Location: 9 area SUBWAY restaurants, Ocoee FL

Help Bread of Life Fellowship (a local Christian Food Bank) reach their goal of 100,000 pounds of donated food by April 30th! We know it’s a big goal…but we have a really BIG GOD who can do more than we imagine! It was made real easy; thanks to the nine Subway locations that have graciously agreed to host this food drive to benefit local families in need, as part of the Feinstein Foundation for a $1 Million Challenge! Simply bring your canned goods or other non-perishable items to any of those Subway restaurants and drop them in the Bread of Life barrels! Thank you for your support and this will be for the whole month of April, so let’s make a change together!

YMCA of Central Florida 20th Annual Celebration of Prayer Breakfast

Location: First Baptist Church of Orlando, Orlando Florida

The Central Florida YMCA’s Celebration of Prayer breakfast is attended each year by more than 1,000 community leaders, and is the largest event of its kind held locally during Holy Week. This year, Major Dan Rooney, Retired USAF and People Magazine’s 2008 Hero of the Year, will share an inspirational message about the importance of faith at the Y’s 20th Annual Celebration of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, April 17.

Annual Community-wide Passover Seder Celebration

Location: Fellowship Church of Winter Springs, Winter Springs Florida

For over 30 years Fellowship Church of Winter Springs has celebrated the Passover Seder as a ministry to friends in the Christian community, who desire to understand the Biblical festivals and join together to celebrate this most significant memorial festival.  Passover is the first festival of the Biblical year. It is the festival that remembers the deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage and hence, the beginning of God’s reign in the midst of His people. In like fashion, it points to individual deliverance and ultimately to universal deliverance when Messiah Jesus takes His Throne in Jerusalem. Come and join with us and be part of this worship experience. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.

Please join us  for our annual dramatic presentation of “The Living Last Supper.” This living dramatization of Leonardo da Vinci’s THE LAST SUPPER is a recreation of da Vinci’s world famous painting with 13 characters. The twelve apostles speak their minds to themselves, to each other, and to the Lord, in light of the words which they have just heard Jesus speak, “One of you will betray me.”
