Mission One Camp

Location: Grace United Methodist Church, Lake Mary FL

Mission One Summer Camp 2016

June 27 – July 1

One week. One community. One person can make a difference.

Join us for a week that’s more than camp. It’s a mission  to make our community a better place, to change the lives of those in need, to show the world what the youth of Seminole County can do.

At Mission One we’ll explore the many ways youth can make a meaningful difference in our communities. We’ll take them to meet a host of nonprofit organizations working to address important issues like homelessness, conservation, hunger, poverty, illness and the needs of the elderly. Campers will learn about the issues facing our community, meet the people working to address them, and join in the effort through daily hands-on service projects that will show them how powerful one person can be, who is willing to make a difference.

Over the course of the week, campers will log a minimum of 20 community service hours, meet the unsung heroes of our community, work as a team to brainstorm solutions to these issues, and have a whole lot of fun along the way!

We’ll serve breakfast each day at 8:30 and camp is from 9 am – 4 pm. Drop off and pick up each day is at Grace United Methodist Church (499 N. Country Club Rd. Lake Mary). Camp cost is $135 and includes a camp         T-shirt, breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day, and transportation to all service project locations. The camp will enroll up to 40 youth ages 12-16.

Registration and payment at                                                        http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0445a5ac2fa20-mission reserves your spot and then further paperwork will be emailed to you.
