Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

This is a fundraiser for Locks of Love. Locks of Love is an non-profit organization that makes wigs for children with cancer. If your hair is 10″ or longer and unbleached, then consider donating your hair on March 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sorelli’s Hair Studio and Spa. All donations will be cut at no charge to the donor; donors can also take advantage of a $10 off coupon on a cut and style if they choose. If your hair is not long enough, then consider giving financial to Locks of Love. All donations collected will go to the charity to off set the cost of creating the wigs. National Bible Bee Registration

What if you could find a summer activity that would strengthen your children in their knowledge of God’s word, bring your family together for Bible study and prayer, and give you the opportunity to meet with other families for fellowship and encouragement, all while participating in an exciting national competition?

Here it is! The 2013 National Bible Bee is coming to our area. The local contest will be held on Saturday, August 24th. Lemonade Day

Lemonade Day at Vista Lakes Elementary School:

160 5th grade students will be operating their Lemonade Stand businesses (40 lemonade stands) on Friday, March 31st from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

All students are preparing by going through the 14-lesson business curriculum, learning topics like planning, budgeting, finding investors, marketing, etc.

Lemonade Day is part of a national movement to teach kids life skills.

24 HORAS DE ADORACION- 24 HOUR WORSHIP

This is the second year that the Pastors Association of Kissimmee is having 24 Hours of continuous adoration and worshiping at the Osceola Heritage Park. The event will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31st and will finish on Saturday, June 2nd at 7 p.m. We want to open this invitation for everyone and if there is any church interested in participating, we can check for open spots.
