ASGO 8th Annual Autism Walk and Family Fun Day

The Autism Society of Greater Orlando will be hosting their 8^th  Annual Autism Walk & Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center. Our Special Guests will address the crowd, and talk to the families and friends of those who struggle with autism every day.  The Walk, hosted by the Autism Society of Greater Orlando, will be held from 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., INSIDE the South Concourse of the Convention Center.

The goal of the event is to increase autism awareness, and to raise funds; 100% of the proceeds raised will remain here in Central Florida. Besides the Walk, there will also be a raffle, silent auction, games, moon bouncers for the kids, a sports corner for Dad, and massages for Mom! Youth Camp Fundraiser

We need the help of our community to bring your change or even dollar donations to this event.

This will help send a youth that has never been to a Christian Camp go for the first time. You would be playing a very important part in the child’s life. We will have food, a car wash and items for sale for a donation. These kids are the future church!

Joy Fellowship International Brunch

Joy Fellowship is an Assembly of God ministry of Christian women toughing and reaching women and communities around the world.

Adventure Martial Arts - Car Wash

Please join the Adventure Martial Arts Tournament Team at the Del Taco on Red Bug Lake Road in Oviedo. We are washing cars for donations!

Our tournament team is composed of martial artists ranging in age from 6 to 40+ that train hard, compete with all their heart, and strive for academic and athletic excellence. We need your help as we raise funds to travel to Chicago, IL this July to compete at the USAT National TaeKwonDo championships.

Central Florida's BBQ Blowout!

Celebrate Florida’s newest event- Central Florida’s BBQ Blowout May 24th and 25th at the Oviedo Mall! This Florida Bar-B-Que Association (FBA) sanctioned family-friendly event includes an entire weekend of musical artists, games/rides, business and food vendors and most of all BBQ! C’mon over Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and for just $25 (tickets increase to $30 beginning of April) enjoy a Low Country Boil from TJ’s Seafood Shack and a live musical performance – direct from Nashville – Country music artists Steel Magnolia! Come back on Saturday for free admission all-day festivities, including riding a mechanical alligator… live music and BBQ!

Established in 2007, HOPE’s mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida by equipping individuals and families to become self-sufficient through Housing, Outreach, Prevention and Education. Since HOPE’s inception, thousands of individuals and families in crisis have been assisted through its Resource Center, Food Pantry and Thrift Store. HOPE is a 501c3 that currently serves over 300 families (800+ individuals) per week through our Food Pantry and offers additional programs to bring them to self-sufficiency. “We’re extremely excited to be partnering with the Chamber and bringing together our strengths to make this a signature event for years to come,” said Joan Faulkner, CEO of HOPE Helps, Inc.

Memorial Celebration

The Covenant Adult Choir and the Children’s Academy of Fine Arts Youth Choir present a musical celebration of the hope and promise of our America on Saturday, May 25, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. It is a free concert & BBQ (sponsored by Dustin’s Restaurants) at 3701 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange. A love offering to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
