The Hidden Masterpiece presented by The Chase is Real

Location: Twin Rivers Golf Club, Oviedo FL

You were created from dust. Imagined by hope. Molded by the one true artist. Saved by the Son and painted by mercy. You were polished by Grace and perfected by the cross. You were created from dust… AND you are a Masterpiece. What exactly does that mean, “masterpiece”? Masterpiece can be defined as an artist’s best piece of work made to be appreciated primarily for it’s beauty or emotional power. It can create change, healing, and hope when seen by the right person. It is valuable beyond measure.

As women, we often focus more on art being something “on display” or “finished” or “flawless” or “acceptable”. We diminish our beauty and certainly our emotions by believing these untruths that ultimately hide the Masterpiece. God, the ultimate artist marvels at His creation in you, in me, in us. During our time together we will journey through uncovering the true Masterpiece God created in each of us. We’ll become aware of just what is hiding our splendor. And we’ll press into living as loved and adored works of art. The hidden masterpiece is within you, the Artist is calling it out of you, the revealing process is long. Today is just the beginning…

Join us for a night out, a moment to breathe, to laugh, to enjoy friends, be inspired and encouraged, and of course, a good cup of coffee and some tasty dessert. There are no expectations here, just LOVE. Come in your pj’s or your work clothes knowing you are seen and known and accepted and valued. We will journey together through eye opening stories, activities, discussion and leave a little more open than when we came.

9-11 Exhibit, Share, Prayer and Tribute Program

Location: Woodlands Lutheran Church, MONTVERDE Florida

To honor the memory of the deceased from 9-11, and to pay tribute to the civilian heroes and first responders who saved so many more lives, a Prayer, Share and Tribute Program will be held at Woodlands Lutheran Church on Wednesday, September 28, at 7:00pm.

Joining with members of Woodlands Church on September 28th will be families of those who perished, survivors, witnesses to the attacks, first responders, recovery workers, members of the military, and those whose recollections of that terrible day are still raw memories.

Included in this program of Prayer, Share and Tribute will be an Honor Guard, Christian Themed-Patriotic Music, a Video and Message about a first responder-hero of 9-11, and a time of prayer before the altar.

Also, as part of the program, the photos and names of the victims of the 9-11 attack on America will be placed at the foot of the altar. Members, and guests, are encouraged to bring photos of family and friends who died as a result of that assault on our nation, and also place their remembrances before the altar.

Additionally, there will also be photos of the 9-11 heroes and first responders placed before the altar. You are also encouraged to bring photos of both these heroes, and those of any first responders, and members of the military, who have answered the ‘call’ in defense of our freedom and protection since September 11, 2001.

During the program Sr. Pastor Brian Kneser will lead a time of prayer over the photos and names of the departed, the rescuers and those committed to defend our country so that another 9-11 should never, ever darken our shores again.

For this special evening, please dress in our national colors: Red, White and Blue.

A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the program.
