Community Chorus of Palm Coast Free Spring Concert

The Community Chorus of Palm Coast performs its spring concert program of traditional music. Sacred, gospel, pop and folk music will be featured. The 52-member Chorus of experienced singers is directed by Linda Hodges, a professional musician with over 25 years’ experience. The hour-long concert is free but donations are welcome.

May 4th Mothers Day Event Fundraiser

Location: All Creatures Pet Grooming, Orlando florida

Bring your Mom, Grandma, Sister, Girlfriend or any Beautiful Mom to our Mother’s day event. There will be scrumptious snacks, a bounce house for the kids, photos, vendors and a raffles. DJ Sweat will be providing us our music entertainment. Today we ask you to join us in helping teen mothers & children of BETA Center. These young women are struggling to graduate high school while learning to care for a young child. They are only asking for help with modest needs such as diapers, baby wipes, bottles, pacifiers, infant clothes. They are also in need of everyday items like toilet paper, hand soap, shower gels, bath sponges, cosmetics, deodorant, hygiene products.Your money will help give these families all these basic needs we take for granted everyday while teaching them that strangers do care. We are accepting donations for boxes of diapers. All sizes. They can be dropped off at All Creatures Pet Grooming. Fundraising is until May 15th.

CFCArts Presents "Exploring the World of Romance"

Location: St John Lutheran Church, Winter Park FL

Extending their Summer Classical Season into a year-round presentation, their inaugural Spring Classical, “Exploring the World of Romance” will be revealing the mystery of romantic composers. The CFCArts Classical Choir will sing selections such as Mozart’s Regina Coeli, Rossini’s I Gondolier and Schubert’s Gloria. To be further guided through the musical foundations of the Romantic Period, the audience will also experience works of Neo-Romantic composers such as Randall Thompson and Jean Belmont in a beautiful concert that will feature a 75-voice choir as well as a full chamber orchestra.Ticket prices to Central Florida Community Arts’ shows are intentionally kept low to help make the arts accessible and affordable, (Central Florida Community Arts (CFCArts) is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) entity). Proceeds of all tickets purchased for this show will go to the CFCA organization; which also includes a community choir, a gospel choir, a community orchestra, a children and youth arts program and the CFCArts School of Performing Arts.

Children age 12 and under will be admitted for free.

Cinco de Mayo Hunger Project

Location: Feeding Children Everywhere Headquarters, Longwood Florida

Who: This Cinco de Mayo, Feeding Children Everywhere wants YOU to join us for the Cinco de Mayo Hunger Project.

What: Volunteers will be hand-packaging 20,000 healthy meals that will be distributed to hungry children around the world. There will be great music, good fun and the chance to make a tangible difference in the life of a hungry child.

Why: Currently, 66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world. Through this Hunger Project, YOU are helping those affected by the hunger epidemic.

How to Get Involved: We currently need volunteers for this event. Please click Volunteer to sign up for the event or to make a donation. One of our greatest needs is donations. It’s easy for anyone to make a difference when each meal only costs one quarter. For this event there is a suggested donation of $5 at the door. Together, we are Feeding Children Everywhere.
