Swing for the King Presented by EA Sports


Location: Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando FL

The Swing for the King Presented by EA Sports will occur on Monday, Oct. 3rd at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge. Proceeds from the tournament benefit The First Tee of Central Florida’s Arnold Palmer Scholarship.

The event is named in honor of the great Mr. Arnold Palmer (a.k.a. “The King”), who has been a supporter of The First Tee and The First Tee of Central Florida through The First Tee National Trustee Program. Funds raised from the tournament provide program-related expenses throughout the year to benefit student-participants in programs run by The First Tee of Central Florida, such as financial assistance to maintain its policy no child ever be turned away for an inability to pay, equipment and transportation expenses.

Baby Buddies Play Group (SCENTSory play dough w/ Young Living)


Location: Amaya Papaya, Casselberry FL

Baby Buddies is a mommy and me play group created to help parents of children 0-11 months old connect with other parents through age appropriate PLAY sessions for their children. During the PLAY sessions at Amaya Papaya parents will be able to: Connect & create friendships with other parents who have children 0-11 months old, explore a variety of ways to connect with their child through PLAY and discuss daily life as a parent in a safe & non-judgmental setting. Play Sessions may involve: finger plays, tummy time, sensory play, lap plays parachute play, puppet shows, bubbles, dancing, story time and color, letter, number association.

This annual block party will offer people an opportunity to meet their local patrol officers and their City Commissioner. It is such a great opportunity for OPD to continue to build relationships with the community that it serves and increase citizen participation in crime prevention. This is a free block party and is open to the public. Food and live entertainment will be provided. Come out and join in, your Z will see you there!
