World Refugee Day

A free cultural celebration uniting the diverse refugee population in Central Florida. Festivities include: cultural performances, arts and crafts, music, calligraphy demonstrations, world cuisine, traditional dances, face painting, and country exhibits. Hosted by Catholic Charities of Central Florida.

Vacation Bible School- Son Surf Beach Bash

We are excited about Good Shepherd’s Vacation Bible School, Son Surf Beach Bash to be held from Sunday, June 23rd through Friday, June 28th. There will be fun and learning for all ages at the Beach Bash. We will have a light dinner at 5:30 p.m. every evening. The cost of each dinner is $2.75 per person each night and $12.00 per family of 5 or more each night.

The fun and learning will begin at 6:15 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. every evening. In Son Surf Beach Bash, children through adults will discover an outdoor adventure like no other! You will learn how to Catch the Love of Jesus from John 14:6. We will be having a great time with lively songs, skits, crafts, and Bible stories. VBS is for all children Pre-k -5th, youth, and adults.

VBS Creative Arts Blast!

Life Assembly Presents: VBS Creative Arts Blast!
Sunday, June 23rd-Wednesday June 26th                                                                           
6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 

All kids K-5th grade join us for the exciting production of “Inspector Kluttzo and the case of the Pink Flamingo”! 

This mystery drama centers around a pink flamingo and the secrets that reside deep within its heart. Called to break the case is the infamous Inspector Kluttzo and his trusty sidekick “Too-too”. Together will they crack the case or will the pink flamingo crack them???

And guess what, Kids ?? You get to be in it! Act 1 will take place on Sunday Night starring the Kidz Ablaze team.  Then, there will be workshops at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and you will be in the musical on the days you attend the workshops!!  Workshops include drama, mime, dance and puppetry!

Kick Off Sunday Evening: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Monday Evening: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Tuesday Evening: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Colossal Coaster World VBS

Through every twist, turn, and dive, Colossal Coaster World will challenge kids to face their fears and trust God. With excitement around every curve, kids learn that God has given them a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment. This VBS is the ultimate ride.

June 24-28 with a celebration on Sunday June 30 11:00 a.m. followed by a pot luck luncheon.

6-12 Grade Performing Arts Camp

We just opened up registration for Summer 2013! Join us for an exciting week of singing, dancing, and acting that culminates in a huge showcase for family and friends. We are also partnering with several Arts organizations in Central Florida to provide fun and interactive workshops during each afternoon that are included in the price of camp!

Workshops include:

• Dance and Movement-Yow Dance
• Painting and Art- Crealde’ School of Art
• Improv and Comedic Acting- Improv Troupe
• Instrumental Music and Performance- Central Florida Community Orchestra

Youth Camp (entering 6^th -12^th Grade)

• Presenting a musical showcase featuring songs by popular, chart-topping artists including Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, and Natasha Bedingfield
• Date: Monday, June 24^th- Friday, June 28^th
• Time: 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (extended care will be available until 5:00 p.m. at $10 per day)
• Camp Showcase: Friday, June 28^th at 6:30 p.m.
