Let's Get Moving Kids (4th Annual)

Location: Cranes Roost Park Uptown Altamonte, Altamonte Springs FL

The Forest City Spanish SDA Church invites you to 5K, 3K, 1/8 mile walk/run for children and families! The goal is to promote active and healthy lifestyles. Register at Lets Get Moving Kids. Participants will receive finisher medallions, t-shirts (while supply lasts), race bibs, and goody bags. Bring your families and enjoy a health fair, healthy snacks, face painting, bounce house and much more! There will also be a special appearance by one of the players from the Orlando City Soccer team present at the event! Hope to see you there!

MUSICAL THEATRE VOICE Master Class Presented by Circle School of the Arts

Location: Metro Church, Winter Springs FL

Circle School of the Arts is launching a NEW series of community master classes for the 2014-15 school year. The master classes will be taught be professionals in the field and are purposefully designed to allow open access to all 7th-12th grade Christian actors seeking excellence in their training in Central Florida.

Musical theatre performances are powerful when song furthers both the character’s journey and the play’s central story. This master class takes the five W’s (who, what, where, when and why) and applies them to song. Intensive master class will be led by Christi Griffith, Director of Soli Deo Gloria Music Studio.


  • Friday, October 4th: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 5th: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

David Lyons is the author of the book David’s Goliath, an inspiring story of one man’s diagnosis with multiple sclerosis and his struggle to rise from the depths of despair to the stage of a bodybuilding competition, which lead David to start the The Ms Fitness Challenge . In this gripping book, David takes you on his journey of faith, trust, and perseverance. You will read how his walk with Christ took him on an unconventional path of healing. You will see how he battles this debilitating, unpredictable, and often misunderstood disease. David’s story encourages people with diseases, disabilities, or any of life’s hardships to never give up or give in to defeat. David’s presentation will be followed by a book signing. Books can be purchased at the venue.

With three beautiful, music-filled acts (Birth, Happiness, and Glory), and one eternal message of hope, Gracias Christmas Cantata expresses the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of hope, faith and love in our hearts. Gracias Christmas Cantata offers cherished, heartfelt music and unforgettable scenes that will be sure to brighten and revive your hearts. The musical reenactment of Jesus Christ’s birth will make your hearts overflow with joy and thankfulness.
