FREE National Night Out Community Block Party


Location: Delaney Baptist Church, Orlando FL

Delaney Baptist Church is hosting National Night Out Community Block Party. This completely free event is open to anyone in the community.In support of building stronger and safer communities in our City Beautiful, we are joining forces with the Orlando Police Department’s Crime Prevention Division in celebrating Orlando’s National Night Out.

This will be a night of food, fun and public safety information for the entire family. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore public safety vehicles, such as an ambulance, fire engine, police cars and much more. We will also have law enforcement and K9 demonstrations, S.W.A.T. and fire fighter gear will be on hand to explore and even try on, and public safety and city personnel will be here to meet and greet!

The kids will enjoy face painting, a bounce house, crafts, balloon animals, and will even get to meet Scruff McGruff the Crime Dog and Smokey the Bear! This will be a fun and educational event that will build relationships and provide important information to keep our neighborhoods safe!

National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

MADD Camp


Location: Grace United Methodist Church, Lake Mary FL

MADD Camp | August 3-7 with a performance on August 9 at 11 a.m.

MADD is a creative art camp for youth and children (completed 1st-8th grade) that focuses on music, art, drama and dance. The youth and children will combine their skills and perform a musical called, “King of the Jungle.” With the creative use of animals, the King of the Jungle describes how the Christian life can be transformed by Christ. The performance will be held on Sunday, August 9th at 11 a.m.

National Night Out Kickoff Party

The Orlando Police Department invites you and your family to come out to the annual National Night Out Kickoff Party!

This Block Party is an opportunity to meet local patrol officers, City Commissioners, Police Chief, Fire Chief and Mayor. The Orlando Police Department wants to build relationships with the community that it serves and increase citizen participation in crime prevention.

Your Z88.3 will be there, so stop by our Z table, get a free Z88.3 bumper sticker, and hang out with us!

The event is free, and will have free rides and entertainment to enjoy, along with free food (on a first come, first serve basis).
