Then, courtesy of Rethinkhomelessness, we will view the video short “Cardboard Stories” which has gotten over 4 million Internet views and highlighted the plight of our citizens. Finally, Tom Rebman, the “Homeless Teacher”, will be speaking on local homelessness issues! Then local homeless advocate, Tom Rebman – known all over the country simply as the “Homeless Teacher,” sheds light on this relevant social issue; what are the real challenges facing our large homeless population in Orange County, what was his experience living as a homeless person, and what can we do to help now. The Polasek Museums’ Student Night celebration includes complimentary arts activities for all visitors. If you’re a student learn about internship opportunities at the Polasek, with Curator, Rachel Frisby!
