Mother Knows Best CabaretLocation: Central Florida Community Arts, Orlando Florida Central Florida Community Arts is a non profit organization who strives to make the arts as accessible to as many people as possible while connecting with other non profit organizations. One of the ways we do this is by offering tickets to our performances at a low cost of $10 or less. Central Florida Community Arts’ monthly cabaret series continues in May with the one and only Katy Willis starring in a Mother’s Day themed show entitled Mother Knows Best. No stranger to the stage, Katy has spent the past decade entertaining throughout the country and beyond, from theme parks in Florida, to theaters in Minnesota and New York City, to a three-year stint as an entertainer on the Disney Cruise Line. After playing “Kate McGowan” in CFCArts’ Titanic – The Musical in September 2012, Katy took on her most recent and favorite role – that of being a mother – when her son Ethan John, who was the inspiration for her cabaret theme, was born six weeks after the end of the run of Titanic. Reserved seating can be purchased in advance for $12 online or General Admission seating can be purchased for$10 at the door (cash/check only). For further information about Central Florida Community Arts or its monthly cabaret series, please visit the website at Central Florida Community Arts or contact CFCArts Founder and Executive Director Joshua Vickery at 407.937.1800.
