Car Wash to Help Support "Friends of The Poor Walk"

Car Wash to Support The “Friends of The Poor Walk”:
St. Vincent De Paul (SVDP) feeds over 1000 people in Lake County every month! And on October 11, 2014 you can help us raise money to feed them. Join us for a Car Wash fundraiser (for a donation of your choice). This Car Wash, along with the “Friends of the Poor Walk”, is to benefit the people of Lake County. The Car Wash will be held behind the Bob Evans Restaurant in Mount Dora. Additionally, on October 11th, if you choose to eat at Bob Evens, 15% of your total food bill will go to benefit SVDP when you present a “Friends of The Poor Walk” flyer at the counter during payment.

The “Friends of the Poor Walk”:
The walk will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Registration for the “Friends of the Poor walk” begins at 8 a.m. and the walk will be around Lake Gracie at 9 a.m. All donations will receive a free T-shirt! Join us afterwards at the St. Mary’s of the Lakes Catholic Church Parish Hall for FREE food and drinks.

Christmas in October Bazaar

Florida Black Bear and Wildlife Conservation Festival

The Harvest Ball includes a silent and live auction, special performance by the Bishop Grady Villas Chime Choir, live entertainment, dancing, and a gourmet dining experience. Fr. John McCormick, rector of St. James Cathedral, will receive the Lifetime Legacy Award for his advocacy for people with disabilities. Bishop Grady Villas supports persons with disabilities to use their God-given gifts to achieve greater independence, physical and emotional well-being, and spiritual growth who are adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Location: Amaya Papaya Play Lounge, Casselberry FL

Costume Exchange & Sunday Open Play

Exchange your child’s gently used costumes. Why purchase a new costume when you can reduce your carbon footprints and swap.

For each costume you bring in you will get one swap voucher to get a new to you costume. Please remember that these costumes are donated, so you may not find a costume in your child size or one that your child may like.

Sizes that we need are: infant, toddlers  and pre-school.

All costumes are donated to Amaya Papaya once they are donated for the swap they will not be returned, the ones that do not get swapped they will be donated back to our Imagination Stages where the kids can play with them everyday.

Admission for this event will be free if you donate a usable costume, but you can still come to play @ our regular admission fee.
