Free Dennis Walters Golf Show: The First Tee of Central Florida

Location: Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge, Winter Garden FL

The First Tee of Central Florida will host the Dennis Walters Golf Show. The Dennis Walters Golf Show is a one hour combination of “Golf Lessons and Life Lessons.” It is great golf, great fun, along with an inspiring message. The Dennis Walters Golf Show is about reaching for dreams. Dennis’ dream was always to play successfully on the PGA Tour, but he had an accident in 1974 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Dennis found there were a lot of things he couldn’t do, but there was no way he was giving up playing golf. Dennis plays from a swivel seat mounted on the passenger side of a golf cart and since 1977, he has made over 3,000 appearances, performed in all fifty states, Mexico, Canada and The UK. During each show, Dennis performs a series of “trick shots” throughout the program that provide a great visual opportunity for both still and video images. These “trick shots” are done with a wide variety of items, including a fishing rod, a crutch, a radiator hose and a cell phone. He also hits shots blindfolded and through fire. At each show, Dennis also brings his dog Bucky with him. Bucky, a rescue dog, does a variety of tricks, but is best known for his uncanny ability to correctly answer questions by barking out the answers.

Anyone who would like to sign up in advance for FREE admission to the program, can register at The First Tee: Dennis Walters Show.

Awakening Revival 2014

Location: Great Commission Fellowship Center, Kissimmee FL

A spiritual re-awakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation in the life of a believer. It energizes and sometimes intensifies a believer’s faith, opening his or her eyes to the truth in a fresh, new way. It generally involves the connotation of a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience to God. Awakening Revival breaks the chains and power of the world, which blinds the eyes of men, and generates both the will and power to live in the world but not of the world. Join us for The Awakening Revival! This is an outdoor event were we will have live praise, worship, Christian hip hop, and powerful message that will encourage, motivate, and challenge the life of a believer to renew their faith in Jesus Christ. Come, and be awakened! See you there.
