Haiti Update

Monday marked the six month anniversary of the Haiti Earthquake. As the country continues to wrestle with the devastation, it has become clear that 3 vital things are needed for Haiti to move on- infrastructure, employment and education.

New Missions, the organization that I was serving with when I was in Haiti, has seen an unprecedented number of people coming to Christ since the earthquake, One of their 22 churches alone has reported 220 new believers since the quake. Almost ALL Haitians are illiterate. To help, New Missions is putting all of their school lessons on software that can be played through any MP3 player.

To help, I am asking you to donate a NEW or USED iPod or ANY BRAND MP3 PLAYER to be sent to Haiti. The drive is being held this week and will greatly impact New Mission's reach to this devastated country.

MP3 Players can be dropped off or mailed to the following locations:
Z88.3 FM (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.)
Attn: Melony McKaye
1065 Rainer Drive
Altamonte Springs, FL 32714

or

New Missions
8054 Presidents Drive
Orlando, FL 32809

Thank you for your help and continued prayers for the people of Haiti!

Your Friend,
Melony McKaye
