Woman of the Week for Thursday, Aug 26, 2010: Robin Riedel

Robin truly is one amazing woman. After dating her son for almost 2 and a half years, he broke up with me. At a time when I felt most alone, the last place I thought to turn was his family. But I was wrong. Robin reached out to me with arms wide open and introduced to the love that Jesus has to offer. Robin has been a second mother to me. Having grown up with no God in my life, at age 25 I am finally beginning my relationship with God, something I needed Robin to open my eyes to. She puts God first in everything she does. Her love and devotion to God are the perfect example for me. She leads through her actions and always seems to know exactly what I need to hear and when. I love her more than words can say - for introducing me to God, for being there for me when no one else was, and for being the kind of person that I hope to be one day. Robin truly is a gift for God.
