Woman of the Week for Thursday, Feb 18, 2010: Meredith Brown

Meredith is the gift God gave my family to enable us to follow His calling into ministry. She moved to Orlando two and a half years ago after my first child was born, opting to take a part time job so that she could help with child care while I continued working part time and my husband continued his studies at seminary pursuing his Masters of Divinity. Without her, he would not be able to attend seminary and would have to return to full time work. She is a vital part of my family's life now--a real fifth member of our family. When not helping us out, Meredith can be found at the MD Anderson Clinic in Orlando, administering chemotherapy to cancer patients with a cheerful nature and a true servant's heart. She is an amazing woman--and for us, the Woman of the Year, not just the week.
