The Cathedral Choir and Choristers present the beloved Christmas Lessons & Carols liturgy—featuring both familiar and new carols as the Nativity story unfolds through scripture and song. Originating at Truro Cathedral in 1880 and later shaped by the iconic King’s College, Cambridge service beginning in 1918, this historic Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols blends readings and choral music to illuminate the story of Christmas. A tradition celebrated worldwide, it offers beauty, reflection, and inspiration for the season.
