Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to Host 5th Annual Ultimate Garden Party on May 16

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida recently opened ticket sales for its 5th annual Ultimate Garden Party, presented by the Glenda G. Morgan Charitable Foundation, on Saturday, May 16 at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

The signature spring fundraiser invites guests to join Second Harvest to raise money to provide more than a million meals for Central Florida kids, families and seniors facing hunger. The whimsical afternoon features live music and entertainment, silent and live auctions, craft cocktails and a plated sit-down meal, casino-style games, and a curated Trunk Show featuring local vendors.

“Our annual Ultimate Garden Party is a joyful way for the community to come together for a cause that truly matters,” said Derrick Chubbs, President and CEO at Second Harvest. “Here in Central Florida, one in seven people – and one in six children – are at risk of experiencing hunger, and every ticket purchased for this event helps provide nutritious meals that help our neighbors thrive.”

General admission tickets are $150, with VIP tickets available for $250. VIP guests receive complimentary valet parking, preferred seating, and an exclusive swag bag. For an additional $75 donation, attendees can enter to win “The Full Bloom” – the event’s ultimate prize package featuring entertainment, experiences, accessories and more.

Proceeds from the Ultimate Garden Party provide financial support for Second Harvest Food Bank’s hunger relief efforts across seven Central Florida counties, including Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia.
