Global Poverty and Advocacy: Learn How to Get Involved

The Borgen Project, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing global poverty through effective U.S. policy, will host a public information session in Winter Park.

This free event will provide an overview of global poverty issues, the role advocacy plays in creating meaningful change and ways individuals can get involved through volunteer and educational opportunities.

The session is open to students and community members interested in global affairs, nonprofit work and public service.
