Hero Hustle 5K

The Hero Hustle is an annual, family‑friendly 5K run/walk and 100m kids’ dash held right here in DeBary, Florida — all to support veteran‑focused charities. The event is hosted by The Kruid Foundation, bringing the community together for a meaningful day dedicated to honoring our American Heroes.
This fun and purposeful event features a fast, flat 3.1‑mile course through local neighborhoods, custom race medals, and a high‑energy post‑race celebration packed with music, food, drinks, a shirt launcher, bounce houses, and water slides — truly something for the entire family to enjoy.
Every dollar raised goes directly to charitable foundations supporting our Veterans. Organizations such as Mission 22, T.A.P.S., and the PTSD Foundation of America are just a few of the incredible groups benefiting from this event.
