Maundy Thursday Worship at Prince of Peace

Maundy Thursday, also known as Holy Thursday, is the day when Christians around the world remember the Last Supper—when Jesus and His disciples dined together for the last time before His death. It was on that night our Lord instituted the Sacrament of Holy Communion, and so we partake of His body and blood in each of our worship services.

Live Easter Scene

On Monday, Thursday, and Good Friday, there will be a live Easter scene in the front of the church campus, view-able to all cars driving by. You are welcome to stop by, worship, and if you choose, come inside and take the Lord’s Supper as you reflect on the real importance of Easter.

This will be available from 5:30pm to 7:00PM on both nights.

Maundy Thursday Service and Prayer Vigil Watch

Come celebrate with us at the Maundy Thursday Service with a Prayer Vigil Watch in the Chapel following the service. The Chapel will be transformed to resemble the Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus prayed and his disciples slept the night before his crucifixion.

Annual Community-wide Passover Seder

This year will be our 39th year celebrating the Passover Seder as a ministry to friends in the Christian community desiring to understand the Biblical Festivals.  Passover is the first festival of the biblical year and it is a festival that remembers deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage and the beginning of God’s reign in the midst of His people.  It also points to individual deliverance and ultimately universal deliverance when Messiah Jesus takes up His throne in Jerusalem.  Come and join with us and be part of this worship experience.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Price:  $12.00 per person and a reservation is required.

The Lord's Supper Play at Ascension Lutheran Church

Witness the spiritual event of The Lord’s Supper as Jesus tells His Disciples, at their last meal together, of the forthcoming betrayal by one of their own. Witness the astonishment from His Disciples and hear each of their stories on how they came to follow Him and ponder who the betrayer is or “is it I?”
