Wagon's Run Walk Roll 5K

Wagon’s Run Walk Roll 5K is an annual family friendly event benefiting Central Florida children battling leukemia. Run, walk or roll Chain of Lakes’ paved trails surrounded by beautiful wetlands and lakes. After post race awards, enjoy music and snacks while visiting vendor and sponsor booths.

4th Annual Walk N' Wheel 5k For A Cure

The LGS Foundation is excited to host our fourth National Walk n Wheel for Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome in Orlando, FL!  LGS is a rare debilitating form of epilepsy that occurs in 2-4% of children.  Join dozens of other LGS families from around the United States and walk to raise awareness of Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and funds for the LGS Foundation.

This family-friendly event will feature lots of fun activities including:

• Character visits
• A pinwheel garden
• A splash pad (bring your bathing suit)

Activity Day 2019

Activity Day is a FREE event hosted by the first and second year cohorts in UCF’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Children of all abilities and their friends and families are invited to come together for a day of play, art, music, games, and UCF themed fun. UCF strives to create activities that are adaptable and inclusive so that anyone can come up and play! Low stimulation areas are also available to those that need some respite or quiet fun. 8th Annual CancerBank.org Poker Tournament

Holy Cross Lutheran Ministries of Lake Mary established Cancerbank.org™ in 2010 to help families when cancer suddenly strikes. 100% of proceeds raised go directly to local families to help offset the unforeseen costs associated with cancer. Cancerbank adopts families in the Central Florida area and equips them with an advocate that fights for them, financial backing to meet their needs for 12 months, and transportation to and from treatments.

The tournament is funded by amazing sponsors that support the mission. The champion of this year’s tournament will walk away with $1,000 Visa Gift Card and big prizes for 2nd and 3rd and local restaurant Gift Cards for the final table.

Daddy/Daughter Dance

All dads and daughters are welcome to join Friends Community Church for their annual Daddy/Daughter Dance.

Cornerstone University Chorale

The Cornerstone University Chorale of Grand Rapids, Michigan will appear at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 7:00 pm.

The Chorale, conducted by Dr. Kent Walters, is a select choral ensemble of 35 singers who perform a variety of choral literature from Renaissance to contemporary genres including gospel and spirituals. The Chorale focuses on the expression of beauty in choral artistry, combining musicianship and servant hearts for the glory of God and the consequent joy of both singer and audience. In recent years, the Chorale has toured in Europe (2013 & 2017), Florida, the East Coast and the Midwest. The concert will also feature the 5-voice a cappella ensemble, Credo.

Cornerstone University is a Christ-centered university with a passion for global influence through the transforming power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As an interdenominational institution located in Grand Rapids, Cornerstone offers traditional undergraduate programs as well as adult undergraduate and graduate programs through the Professional & Graduate Studies division, Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and Asia Biblical Theological Seminary. Nearly 3,000 students are enrolled in Cornerstone University’s various programs. CU also produces the multifaceted broadcast outreaches of Cornerstone University Radio.
