The expo is filled with resources to help get you ready for the new school year ahead along with local vendors your family will love. Your kids can enjoy the bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides and attractions that can all be enjoyed with the purchase of a $10 wristband.

Back to School WOW

Kick off the school year with the Back To School WOW (West Orange Walk) at Hamlin in Horizon West! They’ll be running and walking a 5K together with their friends from Orlando Health and Bears Who Care.

Beary Healthy 5K Challenge

Are you ready to jump-start your health goals this fall? Beary Healthy 5K Challenge is a three part walk/ run, with events from August to October.

First up in this series: the Back to School WOW (West Orange Walk) at Hamlin in Horizon West! Kick off the school year with your community and walk or run 3.1 miles. Their friends Orlando Health and Bears Who Care will also be there to cheer you on!

Last but not least, join the OktoBEARfest on October 20 from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at Hamlin in Horizon West! See how much you’ve improved from the last two events and run the 3.1 mile course one more time! Run, walk or jog for a worthwhile cause, Bears Who Care, which provides teddy bears and books to children in need throughout the community. After the 5K, enjoy a morning of fun activities. Also, stay for the Hamlin Artisan Market happening next to the event.

Tino Wallenda - High Wire Sermon

Join First United Methodist Church Oviedo as they welcome tightrope-walker Tino Wallenda, part of the famous Flying Wallenda family! Also, the author of “Walking the Straight and Narrow: Lessons in Faith from the High Wire.” He will bring his high-wire artistry to all three services which will be held in the Main Sanctuary. Tino, a 6th generation circus performer, will sit atop his high-wire while delivering the Sunday message to illustrate the importance of focus and perseverance.

Back 2 School Bash

Real Life Longwood is hosting a Back 2 School Bash! Bring your family, invite your friends and join them for food trucks, inflatables and face painting. They’re excited to kick off a new school year with plenty of fun – everyone is welcome!

Divas with Michael Andrew in Concert

The Steinway Society of Central Florida presents the 6th edition of its popular fundraiser, DIVAS, WITH MICHAEL ANDREW IN CONCERT on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the Orlando Museum of Art auditorium, 2416 N Mills Avenue, Orlando, FL. Singer and bandleader Michael Andrew returns along with singer Miss Jacqueline Jones. The fundraiser is in celebration of the 12^th anniversary of the Steinway Society and 30^th of the Steinway Piano Galleries.

The event includes a cocktail reception at 5:30 pm, followed by the concert at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $75 ($65 for Steinway Society members) and $100 for reserved VIP seating.
