Alpha course

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lake Mary will be offering the Alpha course on Wednesday evening’s beginning September 8th and running through November 17th, 2021. The course is free and open to the public, although RSVP is appreciated to plan accordingly. Dinner and nursery/childcare services will be provided free of charge as well.

They will begin with dinner at 6pm, then watch a short 20-30 minute video, then break into small groups for discussion.

What is Alpha?

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church believes that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: hospitality, a talk and good conversation.
