2018 Gems and Jeans Gala

The Jewish Pavilion of Central Florida is celebrating 18 years! During the celebration, they will be honoring Jason Mendelsohn and Paul Stenzler for providing exemplary volunteer leadership. There will be live jazz music, a silent auction and great food and drink! All proceeds go to help continue their mission of enhancing the lives of residents in independent, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout Central Florida by providing visitation, shabbat services, holiday festivities, inter-generational celebrations, musical programs and educational courses. The staff of The Jewish Pavilion of Central Florida and their volunteers visit seniors in over fifty independent, assisted living and long-term care facilities.

October 29-November 1 trip to Ark Encounter/Creation Museum


Location: Ark Encounter, Williamston Kentucky

Get on board the bus with First Baptist Church Leesburg and Kelly Tours to travel to northern KY and visit the Ark Encounter, Williamston, KY and Creation Museum, Petersburg, KY. Cost is $605/double and $764/single occupancy. There is a $300/person deposit due at sign-up and balance due by August 15. The bus will be boarding at our downtown campus located at 220 N. 13th Street, Leesburg, FL.

  • Do you love someone who struggles with substance abuse?

It is time that Lake County residents come together as a community to address the problem and look for answers!

A panel of community leaders will discuss the opioid epidemic and involve the community on working toward solutions.  Local resources will be available.
