Please join your community for the 2018 CFHE Used Curriculum Sale—Central Florida’s largest used curriculum sale with nearly 300 sellers each year —on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 8 a.m.-noon at Metro Life Church in Casselberry! This sale is known for being well organized with a huge selection of quality material at great prices. And even though its big, it still maintains a friendly atmosphere. CFHE wants to help you find what you need!

The huge free resources area opens in the lobby at 7:15 a.m.

Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
No rolling carts, strollers or children under 10 allowed in the sale auditorium (babies must be secured to their mothers).
Sellers register between March 1 – April 30, label and drop off items May 17 & 18. A team of volunteers will set up, organize, and tear down the sale for you!

Want to shop early and unhurried with no crowds? About 130 volunteers are still needed, and volunteers shop early on Friday afternoon!

Angelman Syndrome Foundation Walk

Location: Saint Cloud Lakefront, Saint Cloud Florida

The Angelman Syndrome Foundation is hosting their annual national walk for children born with the rare genetic condition called Angelman Syndrome. 

The walk is going to be on May 19th at Saint Cloud Lakefront 1104 Lakeshore Blvd, St Cloud, FL 34769 from 9 am -1 pm.

The Angelman Syndrome Foundation is a non-profit organization who raise funds for scientific research to find a treatment/cure for this rare condition that affects 1: 15,000-30,000 live births globally. They are also trying to fund the very first Angelman Clinic in the state of Florida. Angelman Syndrome is often misdiagnosed as Autism or Cerebral Palsy. Symptoms include Epilepsy, non-verbal, wide – jerky gait, and a very happy demeanor.

Charity Challenge XXXIII

Charity Challenge is back for its 33rd year of competition that gives back to the community! Charity Challenge is a non-profit organization that brings together over 100 teams for a day of hard competition. These teams all want to be the best at the six different sporting events offered! These events include basketball shootouts, a kayak relay, multiple obstacle courses, a tubing relay, volleyball, and tug-of-war. The event is filled with many vendors and sponsors as well, all of which are donating to local charities of their choices here in the Central Florida area! Everyone from the Central Florida community is encouraged to come out and support these teams and to raise money for the ones who need it most!
