UCF Project Harmony Workshops

Location: UCF Marriage and Family Research Institute, ORLANDO FL


The Marriage & Family Research Institute at the University of Central Florida invites individuals and couples to participate in a program designed to enhance relationships and empower careers. Learn to listen and be heard, resolve conflict and manage stress, gain skills to get a better job, and find ways to plan how to spend your money.

Childcare (for ages 0-12) is offered at most workshops and delicious catered meals will be provided. This program is offered at no cost and you receive a Walmart gift card on the first visit!

Wesley Camp

Location: First United Methodist Church of Orlando, Orlando FL

Camp Wesley will be held June 4th-August 3rd, at First Church Orlando. The camp is divided into two sections, based on when children plan to attend.

  • Campers: Attend camp from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Extended Campers: Attend camp from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Please be sure you register with the appropriate group. All attendees of Camp Wesley must have completed Kindergarten, be Elementary or Middle School age or have just completed the 8th grade. Activity groups will be separated based on age.

Activities will include, sports, Spy Academy where they learn STEM concepts, arts and crafts, Drama and more. There is even time for academics where students can work on math and reading skills at their level. Once a week the camp will travel on a fun-filled field trip.

Camp Blue - Enrichment Clinics

Location: St. James Cathedral School, Orlando FL

Enrichment clinics are offered to grades K-8th and will hold expanded class sessions by grade groups (K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th) where students will receive a cool certificate of completion. Enrichment clinics include “You’ve Got Talent”, “Cooking Masters”, “Mad Science”, and “Robotics”. There will be a talent show, cook-off (with taste testing), along with a science and robotics fair for all parents and campers to enjoy at the end of the week!

Sunshine Sprinters is offering a summer program with the goal of getting kids active and inspiring them by bringing in guest speakers and coaches from all around the community to engage the youth and build community by connecting them with all of the local teams and athletes.

– Speak to a panel of college athletes to see what life is like balancing school and sports

-Meet Erin Gilreath, a former olympic thrower, and learn about some of the throwing events
