American Heritage Girls Troop FL9613: Pumpkin Patch and Pie/Bread Fundraiser


Location: First Baptist Church of Malabar, Malabar FL

Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Pie/Bread Fundraiser to benefit the American Heritage Girls Troop FL9613 at the First Baptist Church of Malabar, Malabar FL!  Our Pumpkin Patch will be open daily Sunday-Thursdays 11:00-7:00pm, Friday-Saturday 9:00am-7:00pm Pumpkins arrive on October 9, 2017 with immediate sales opportunities!  Our patch is conveniently located on 1665 Malabar Road, Malabar and has a southern-country feel great for those fall family photo-ops!  Our baking team will be busy at work in the kitchen to meet community demands for our wonderful home-made pumpkin pies and breads, both selling for $7 each.  As an outreach to our community, the First Baptist Church of Malabar will host a Pumpkin Fest on October 28, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Come mingle with neighbors and enjoy fun, fellowship, games and goodies!

This year the Pumpkin Patch has a new location! We will be under the big oak tree on the church property: 263 King Street, Oviedo. (Formerly next to Centra Care on Red Bug Lake Rd.)

Our beautiful pumpkins in all sizes are grown on a Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. We accept donations using pumpkin models as guides that have been suggested by our growers. All proceeds benefit the Student Ministries of FUMCO and the Navajo Indian Mission. Thank you for your support!

Beginning, Wednesday, Oct. 18-22, Join the Bethel Missionary Baptist church for its 106th Anniversary & Fellowship Week and Fall Festival. The theme of the anniversary is “Preparing Hearts for Service” from Ezra 7:10. Join us, for a week of fellowship and spiritual nourishment.  Various churches of the Winter Park will be in attendance. Promised to be full of fellowship, biblical teachings, networking and great Christian fun.

Wednesday, Oct. 18 – Bethelites fellowship with First Baptist Winter Park, led by the Rev. Tyron Browder and the Rev. Dr.Walter Jackson
Thursday, Oct.19  – Bethelites fellowship with Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, led by the Rev. Tyron Browder and the Rev. Weaver Blondin
Friday, Oct. 20 – Bethelites fellowship with New Covenant Perfecting Ministries, led by the Rev. Tyron Browder and the Rev. Paris Taylor.
Saturday, Oct. 21 – Fall Festival for the youth.( games, face painting,  free food, fellowship and fun.)
Sunday, Oct. 22- Service and Potluck Dinner. Come and receive the word of God,at a church that has been around 106 years. A place full of love and the Holy Spirit.

Walk with Confidence 5k Fun-Run and Fall Event


Location: UCF Arboretum, Orlando Florida

Join From Outside In for their  first ever 5k, fun-run, fundraiser! Walk with Confidence will be held on October 22nd at the UCF Arboretum, starting at 10am. This Fall-themed race will be fun for everyone! Including those who don’t feel like walking or running the trail. There will be games for kids, refreshments, silent auction items, a costume competition for kids, and more! Both kids and adults can feel free to wear their favorite costume! There will also be a special walk for kids to get candy. Walk with Confidence will directly benefit From Outside In’s programs, including our mobile-boutique program which provides youth in need with new and gently used clothes.

CommunityFest 2017


Location: St. Mary Magdalen Church, Altamonte Springs FL

Running since 1966, CommunityFest is the largest and longest running church festival in Central Florida. We will be celebrating “Everyday Heroes” at CommunityFest 2017, October 20-22,

CommunityFest will feature an opening parade and ceremony on Friday at 6pm to celebrate our everyday heroes, and all weekend we will have non-stop live entertainment, 21-booth international food court, midway rides and games for all ages and a spectacular Super Raffle. The Super Raffle Grand Prize is $15,000 in cash.

Proceeds from CommunityFest directly benefit more than 180 ministries at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, including the nationally recognized St. Mary Magdalen School, Habitat for Humanity and others.

Admission to the festival is free of charge, with ticketed rides and games.
