Better Together Community Job Fair

Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to families and children, is partnering with Discovery Church to host a community job fair for Orlando residents on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Registration is now open for job seekers and employers to participate in the November event. With a spirit of hope and celebration, the church-based job fairs empower job seekers by connecting them with local employers who are ready to hire, while offering supportive services that foster meaningful connections and increase opportunities for lastin881g employment. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite.

The Nov. 13 job fair will take place at Discovery Church, located at 881 Sand Lake Road in Orlando. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/Discovery or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949.

The community job fairs are part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped more than 45,600 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. So far this year, more than 3,400 interviews or initial jobs have been offered.
