2026 UCF Day of Praise

This is a combined ministry event hosted by Baptist Collegiate Ministries at UCF. The event will begin with a Ministry Fair on Memory Mall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring tables from local churches and campus ministries, including Z88.3, set up around the large grassy field to connect with UCF students.

At 5 p.m., the event will continue with an outdoor worship night featuring live worship from The Table at FBC Orlando, followed by a message from Dr. David Uth, Senior Pastor at FBC Orlando, and Dr. John Avant, International Evangelist.

FOCUS HBCU Fair

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, the Florida Federation of Alpha Chapters, Inc. will host a free, in-person HBCU Fair for high school seniors across Greater Orlando and its surrounding communities. The event will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel, located at 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.

The event is expected to welcome 2K+ high school juniors and seniors from the Central Florida area, along with representatives from over 40 HBCUs and community partners offering application fee waivers, on-site admissions, and scholarships to high school students in attendance. Several dozen nonprofit, government, and business partners will also be present to recruit students for summer employment, internships, mentoring, and career development opportunities.

The event will also feature a blood drive in conjunction with OneBlood.

Third Annual Gotha Rural Run Among The Trees 5K Run & Festival

The Annual Gotha Community 5K Run Among the Trees is a family-friendly event that brings together runners, walkers, families, local businesses, and community organizations. Participants enjoy a scenic route through historic Gotha while promoting physical wellness, fellowship, and community connection. The event also features local vendors and community engagement opportunities. Proceeds help support the Gotha Rural Settlement Association’s efforts to preserve historic landmarks, maintain community spaces, and strengthen partnerships with local schools and youth organizations.

The Table – a Christian dance party experience

The Table is an opportunity for attendees to get dressed up, dance, fellowship, and enjoy a wholesome, God-honoring environment.

Guests are invited to come dressed up to dance, fellowship, and enjoy some light refreshments. For those who don’t know how to dance, the evening will begin with a beginner dance lesson from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Some of the event’s dance experts will then guide attendees through fun, interactive dance activities, including prayer, worship, and declaration through movement. Guests are welcome to bring a partner or come by themselves.

Later in the evening, the event will feature several God-inspired performances and conclude with a time of communion.
