Celebrate two remarkable milestones at a special festal Evensong marking the 150th anniversary of the Cathedral Church of St. Luke and the centennial of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. This distinguished service brings together the combined choirs of All Saints Episcopal Church and the Cathedral for a rich and uplifting offering of Anglican choral tradition.
Led by internationally renowned guest conductor and organist Malcolm Archer, the Evensong will feature world-premiere compositions written especially for this historic occasion. Drawing on the centuries-old liturgy first formalized in the 1549 Book of Common Prayer, the service blends scripture, psalmody, and canticles with newly composed and traditional choral works—embodying both the deep roots and the living creativity of Anglican worship.
This celebratory Evensong honors the Cathedral’s enduring ministry in Central Florida, the rich legacy of the region’s organists and church musicians, and the continuing vibrancy of the choral tradition. It promises an afternoon of profound beauty, musical excellence, and historic significance.
