GOODWILL’S “SOMETHING BLUE” BRIDAL SHOWCASE TURNS WEDDING WEAR INTO OPPORTUNITY
Central Florida Encouraged to Donate “Something Old,” Support Workforce Development
WHAT:
As wedding costs continue to climb, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hosting a two-day bridal showcase at its Clermont store to make wedding attire and specialty items more affordable.
Brides-to-be, grooms, and members of the wedding party are invited to visit the “Something Blue” event on May 30 and 31 to shop for gowns (many priced under $100), as well as tuxedos or suits, shoes, and accessories.
With a need to meet growing demand, Goodwill is also encouraging Central Floridians to donate their “something old” items so another couple can reuse them and create new memories.
Donations and purchases at Goodwill generate funding that supports the nonprofit’s hands-on job training and employment assistance services.
