The Gotha Rural Settlement Association, Inc. is proud to announce the upcoming Gotha Rural 5K Run, an event designed to encourage health, wellness, fitness, and fellowship among families and community members. Open to all ages, the race will also serve as a unique opportunity for local businesses to connect directly with the people they serve.
Proceeds from the event will support the Association’s ongoing efforts to preserve and promote Gotha’s historic character. Projects include the maintenance and revitalization of beloved community landmarks such as the Historical Zion Lutheran Church and the 1916 Gotha Schoolhouse.
“The Gotha 5K Run is about more than just fitness—it’s about strengthening community ties while safeguarding the history that makes Gotha unique. Every step taken in this race helps ensure that future generations can appreciate and enjoy our town’s heritage.”
Local businesses are invited to participate by setting up booths during the event. There is no charge to host a booth, though donations are welcome and greatly appreciated in support of the Association’s preservation work.
