Shades Mountain Sports Camp

Horizon City Church will be hosting a team of current high school athletes and previous college athletes from Shades Mountain Baptist Church (Vestavia, Alabama). This team will be putting on a faith-based sports training camp for kids K–5th grade.

This event will be a great time for kids to learn valuable foundational sports skills. In addition, there will also be teaching times. We’ll focus on Christian virtue, leadership, integrity, and teamwork. We’ll also have a crafts activity option for kids who would prefer a low-key indoor activity.

This event will be like a sports skills camp and VBS program, all in one. It’s going to be GREAT! All are welcome.

Registration fee includes full program, snacks, bottles of water, and a t-shirt for each participant.
