Sugoi Expo, the immersive anime, cosplay, and Japanese pop culture convention debuts a reimagined experience Sept. 19–21, 2025 at the Hilton Orlando. This three-day, fan-focused event is designed to foster memorable connections between attendees, exhibitors, and special guests—all in a boutique-style, highly engaging environment.

“Sugoi” (すごい) is a Japanese word often used to express admiration, awe, or excitement. It translates to “amazing,” “awesome,” “incredible,” or “terrific.” This spirit is woven into every part of the Sugoi Expo experience.

Thoughtfully curated to offer a more intimate and immersive setting, Sugoi Expo invites fans to step into a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the heart of anime culture. Cosplay is encouraged all weekend, with dedicated photo shoot areas and themed events including the Masquerade, Cosplay Ball, Cosplay Pool Party, and more creating a fully interactive and fan-centric experience.

Meet the Stars of Sugoi Expo

This year’s celebration of Japanese culture brings with it exclusive appearances by Japanese music artists Asaka and Stereo Dive Foundation, both known for anime theme songs. Fans will enjoy live performances and meet & greets with both artists included with admission.

In addition, Sugoi Expo boasts a star-studded roster of English anime voice actors, with special reunions from Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon, and more. Guests include Dan Green, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Eric Stuart, Pete Capella, Lisa Ortiz and AJ Beckles.
