GriefShare: Loss of a Spouse on Zoom

This free online program is designed for those grieving the loss of a spouse/partner no matter how long ago the loss occurred. Attend from the privacy and comfort of your home. Learn ways to work through your grief and look toward the future with a measure of hope. You’ll also meet others who are mourning the loss of their spouses/partners and share an understanding of what you’re going through. Free participant workbook provided. Please register beforehand so they may know how many participants to expect and how many workbooks are needed. Zoom login credentials are provided in the registration confirmation email. Orange County Fire Rescue Car Seat Checkpoint - Station 35


Location: OCFRD Station 35, Orlando FL

Orange County Fire Rescue and partners will be hosting a free child safety seat inspection event at Fire Station 35. This is a great opportunity to ask our experts questions and ensure that the child safety seat in your vehicle is properly installed. Children are certainly welcome, but do not need to be present. Please allow 15-20 minutes for the actual inspection.

**Please note: Masks will be required. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Car seat inspectors will also adhere to social distancing guidelines.

St. George Winterfest


Location: St. George Greek Orthodox Church, New Port Richey FL

Jan. 28-30: This family-friendly annual community event presented by St. George Greek Orthodox Church features a carnival with rides and games for all ages and favorite fair food, and a festival with music, food trucks and vendors.

Event parking and admission are free.

Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $35 on site and discounted online pre-sale (before 5 pm Jan. 28) at Wristbands for $20 each, 2/$35 or 4/$60.

Ride tickets at the carnival are $1.50 each, $30/20 tickets, or $60/50 tickets plus 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.) Pre-sale special: $45 for 50 tickets + 1 free ride

This program will provide an overview of the positive impact physical activity can have on movement symptoms of Parkinson’s as well as mood and thinking changes.
